"The Music of Laurel Canyon"

Laura Camara, Tony Bonardi, Bradley Mellen, and Jacob Reed return to the Refectory for a unique presentation of "The Music of Laurel Canyon". Laurel Canyon is a mountainous area in West Los Angeles where some of the most prolific music of the 1960's and 1970's was born. During the golden years from 1967-1972 a number of America's most beloved songwriters lived, played, and collaborated together to produce music that would define a generation. Laura Camara and friends will be performing original jazz arrangements of a few famous canyon residents: The Mamas & the Papas, Joni Mitchell, CSNY, James Taylor, and Carol King.
